I started nutrition coaching with the mission to empower the people around me to feel more fulfilled in their lives. To know that each day they are making informed decisions that align with the future version of themselves they strive to be. That journey starts from the inside out.
I believe that the foundation of wellbeing begins with nutrition-what we put into our bodies matters. It fuels the neurochemicals that drive our thoughts, mood, and behaviors. Yet so many of us are not equipped with the tools needed to achieve the lifestyle we seek. My goal is to provide my clients with the skills and knowledge they need to build a sustainable diet that fuels their goals in all facets of life. Whether it be a young woman struggling with body image, a parent looking to set a better example for their family, an athlete striving to optimize their performance, or someone who wants to feel more confident & energized throughout their day—My promise to you is that I will work tirelessly to help you to achieve your goals and remove doubt surrounding your nutrition.
what to expect:
At Empowered, we start by getting to know your story and your nutrition journey, both past and present, to ensure that you get everything out of working with us that you hope to. We will discuss your goals, medical history, nutrition preferences, and schedule to tailor your plan to your needs.
From there, we will get you set up in our program and build a meal plan based on your personal metabolism & macronutrient needs. This will include ideal nutrient and meal timing, supplement recommendations, and dietary accommodations. There will be both daily and weekly check-ins to allow you the opportunity to provide as little or as much feedback as you would like; this will also serve as our subjective and objective data points to track while we work together. We use these data points to track trends to provide you with the results you seek. I also find this is a great way for you to track progress & wins that may otherwise be difficult to see.
We always focus more on non-scale victories such as PRs, how you feel, and consistency rather than the number on the scale. Food is fuel, not something to be obsessively tracked or restricted.
